Suspended ceilings for commercial spaces
Grid and tile ceilings are quick to install, give easy access to the services above, and suit offices, retail and industrial units. We install new systems, replace tired ones, and strip them out when a space needs something better.

Where a space is changing use, a suspended ceiling is often the first thing to go. We take it out cleanly and, if the new design calls for it, replace it with a plasterboard MF ceiling instead.

Suspended ceilings: common questions
What is a suspended ceiling?
A suspended ceiling is a lightweight metal grid hung on wires or hangers below the structural ceiling, filled with lay-in tiles. The most common tile sizes in the UK are 600 x 600 mm and 1200 x 600 mm.
Why choose a suspended ceiling?
They are quick to install, hide services while keeping them easy to reach, and let you swap single tiles rather than redecorate a whole ceiling. Lights, vents, access panels, acoustic tiles and fire-rated tiles all fit into the grid.
Can you replace just the damaged tiles?
Yes. We replace damaged or stained tiles and sections of grid. If the original tiles are no longer made, re-tiling the area or renewing the grid often gives a better, more even result, and we will tell you which makes sense.
Can you remove a suspended ceiling and fit a plasterboard one?
Yes. When a unit changes use, the old grid ceiling is often the first thing to go. We strip it out cleanly and, if the design calls for it, replace it with a plasterboard MF ceiling, as we did for a beauty salon in Kenilworth.
